Well, we finally got the tree up! With so many littles running around, it is not quite the tree I'd envisioned, but it's just one more thing I'm learning to "let go of". Last year I hit a few after Christmas clearance sales and decided to go with green and gold. This year I laughed and laughed as I realized that I had inadvertently gone "Baylor". It also pleases the Cheesehead of the house.
Jubilee came and captured a few pics of my monkeys and even made a slide show. How awesome is my baby sis?!
This week our focus will be adopting some angels and shopping for them in addition to making some delicious cookies, reading some (more) books and watching a few (more) movies while cuddled on the couch with popcorn and hot cocoa. That's a perfectly acceptable holiday meal, right?!
