Just a typical Tuesday :-)

After dropping off a dress at the alteration shop, we had a mini- geometry lesson by looking at the map and deciding which route (circle or star shape) would be the most efficient. So then after we agreed on the circle shape and crossing target off our list we stopped by the park.

Then we went to Sams for a silly hotdog lunch while the car got the tires "all switched up" (rotated).

That the boy was getting very tired so we had to do our HEB trip quick as quick which means no pics. After feeding Axel and getting him pacified, I was able to snap a few quick shots of my prizes for the day.

I found one of my favorite childhood books, Ping.

And the Bliss was just too funny. For the record it was not horrible, but I didn't finish it. Can't say that it made me happy or blissful but it did make me laugh so I guess that counts for something :-)

Amelia was such a big girl today, we played "spa", complete with cucumbers for her eyes after she helped me unload the groceries.  She laughed as she planned what she was going to do to her Dad while visiting for the summer, (yogurt on his face and painting his fingernails). She was such a help buckling Axel up each time we had to load the car and even though we had a few "redirections", she is growing up and becoming just as smart as her sister!

All in all, even though not every aspect of life is peachy keen, I am far more blessed than burdened. I was able to take my babies to swing at the park and hear their laughter. I was able to get the tires rotated on the car. I was able to not only buy groceries to fill our fridge and pantry but a couple of books too! It is these small things we take for granted that are the highlights in life. These are the moments we will miss. I am grateful that today I was allowed the privilege of basking in the bliss of this typical Tuesday.
***the pics are wonky (out of order) and I am not going to take the time to figure out how to re-do them. I'm off to play more with my kiddos.
